Training two...

1. Answer D: electronic marketplaces are accessible at all times from anywhere in the world, do not require much physical effort to purchase/transport items and allow customers to find additional information than what would usually be offered in store.

2. Though in-house talent would be more economical, contractors that are used to working with a e-business would be better suited for the task.

Creating simple web pages

After completing our first assignment in record time Im feeling good about the hands on tasks we will be completing this year. I decided not to use to the Towson and frontpage logos that were used in the tutorial as they seemed uninteresting. Instead I used a picture of Adam Colton who rides for loaded longboards, my choice board company. After completing the assignment, I headed over to secondlife.com. I've heard of this before, a fictional place where you can buy fictional real estate and cars with real money. To me it sounds like absolute madness but I guess if you have money to blow then why not. I guess it means something to be wealthy whether in real dollars or fake ones too.

E-business day one

My name is Shawn Wagener and im a bartender at Outback in Perry Hall. Usually I dislike school to the point where I find it miserable to attend but this class, so far, seems to be a well needed change from the norm. Once I get outta school, I plan to start my own business which I am still working out details about. When it comes to getting rich, having my own business is my solution. Much of my family is self employed and does very well for themselves which makes me believe that a private ownership is the way to go. I have considered everything from eBay to my own restaurant but as of yet, nothing is substantial enough to mention. Im not looking for a get rich quick scheme but more something I can hold and work on throughout my life or at the least, something I can build and let someone else run once its up and running. Until then, I'll keep thinking. More to come.
